Gill Truslow was fortunate to have grown up in a beautiful area of Connecticut, not far from the cultural opportunities available in New York City, and to have parents who loved the arts. She was encouraged to spend her time outside of school enjoying the outdoors, taking dance classes, being creative with art materials, and singing with choral groups.

It has been an honor to collaborate with Monadnock Living Magazine and to share my photography with the community. The magazine’s Fresh Perspectives issue allowed me the opportunity to reflect on my own creativity, and to articulate the passion that steers my interest in capturing fleeting images.
